Our Farm

‘‘Eating is an agricultural act’’ - Wendell Berry

    Rotational Grazing

We manage our cattle on a simple rotational grazing system, moving stock through fields to allow grass time to rest and recover.
This approach helps maintain consistent forage quality, protects soils, and supports growth from pasture rather than bought in feed.
Finishing cattle directly off forage is central to how we farm, keeping the system low-input and suited to our land.

    Pasture Diversity

On the farm we have a mix of permanent pasture and herbal leys.
These fields provide a range of grasses, clovers and deep-rooting species that support soil structure, natural fertility and steady cattle growth.
We aim to keep swards productive without relying heavily on fertiliser, using grazing management to maintain plant diversity and ground cover throughout the season.

    Grass Fed Beef

We’re proud of the beef we produce. It’s what we feed our own family, and we know the care that’s gone into every animal.
By selling directly, we can offer that same quality to people who appreciate beef finished simply on forage.

Visiting the Farm

We also have a ‘rustic’ stone barn in the farm yard with a small kitchenette that can be used to host on farm meetings or groups.

Please to reach out if you would like to use for a venue for a meeting or farm walk as tea/coffee and catering can be provided.

Ladock Woods is a short walk away via a public footpath.
